On the way to work this morning in the fog, I got to thinking about what my resolutions would be for next year. Most years I don’t even bother. There is the age-old ‘Loose Weight’. The number one broken resolution of all time. This year I think I’ll start small. I’m going to try and be polite. Yes, you heard me. Polite. You know, what your mother tried to instill in you. Saying ‘Thank You’. Smiling like you really are glad to be alive and breathing! How about not saying anything bad if you don’t have anything good to say. Like remembering that ‘the truth’ is all part of your perspective and that people have the right to their opinions and their ‘truth’!

Okay. Okay. I’ll get off my soap box. But I think the world would be a better place if we all just were a lot more accepting of others and their view points. Amen. Enough said…

Happy New Year and may your 2006 be better than your 2005.

Ciao

Every now and then I read a blog entry that really hits the spot and seems to come from the heart. I’ve been reading Tomato Nation now for several years. The writing is great and “The Vine” is about one of the most practical and in-touch advice columns out there.

This entry The Vine 12-14-05, the last letter in particular, hit me hard.

Ciao
