The other day I had a small epiphany. Why is it okay to pay $1.50 for a 20 oz bottle of soda and I balk at paying more than $1 for a 2 liter bottle of the same soda? Funny how you get used to things.
Ciao
I’ve never been a consistent poster. After Wendy died, it left me in a funk. The world is just not a fair place. Baby boy is healthy and Dad is fun to watch and listen to. All the stories both good and sad. He gave me a picture the other day of Baby boy. Cute little pudgy guy. I keep it where I can see it.
I ran into one of her other friends and they said they saw her. They saw her get onto an elevator. Of course, it was someone who looked just like her. But still the same, we keep having Wendy sightings. Where ever she is, I hope she keeps smiling and knows she is missed.
Ciao
“Aw Wendy. You should have seen all the people at the memorial service. The church had standing room only and people were packed in everywhere. There was laughter, tears, and much sadness. Stories of your laughter, cars crashed, peas, and elevators. Your kindness and strength.”
“You would have been amazed. You touched so many lives.”
“Where ever you are, I hope you know you were loved and still are.”
“She’s gone.”
“Shit. Shit. Shit…”
“She’s brain dead. They found no activity. She’s gone and her body doesn’t know it.”
“Aw fuck… Has he been presented with the decision? How’s he taking it?”
“He knows she’s gone. He’s thinking about what’s best for the boy.”
“Does the family agree? It’s his decision, but she’s their mom and daughter.”
“Surprisingly he’s listening to advice and making alert decisions. He’s as ready as he can be to let her go… God that’s awful to say. But the people who have been there from the beginning have come to terms and agree. It’s the late comers, her siblings, that are still wrapping themselves around the idea. He’s going to give it 24-48 hours.. then…”
“How the hell did this happen?”
……
“Hello God. Its me again. Comfort, help them please.”
